Make a Difference

In grace and gratitude…We are humbled at your consideration, and grateful to receive whatever you can offer to support the growth and unfoldment of making ABLE to Sail the most transformational Youth Program in Colorado!

Please DONATE NOW! Your contribution is 100% tax deductible!

Your donation will help us populate our program, and reach the kids who need it most. Over 50% of our participants live below the poverty level, and we let them come for free. We believe in the grace and goodness of generous souls like yourself who still believe that no child is a hopeless case. The results we experience have been profound. Our kids report an average 81% increase with regards to self-esteem, confidence, and how they see their place in the world.

We invite you look over the testimonials, watch the videos, read about our philosophy and ask yourself if this is something you wished you knew when you were a teenager. If so, help us change the course of our precious youth today,

We’re gearing up for our 7th summer, and have already grown from 5 camps and 48 kids our first year, to 11 camps and over 200 kids in 2018! In total, we have had the opportunity to inspire over 900 kids in those 6 years!

As we continue to grow and gain traction in getting the attention from those with deep pockets, we must rely on those of us with possibly NOT so deep pockets. I have no gimmicks to offer you, just the assurance that your donation, no matter how big or how small, will help give one or more kids the opportunity to realize their inherent worth and change the course of their lives!

O Captain! my Captain! our fearful trip is done

The ship has weather’d every rack, the prize we sought is won,
The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting...
It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Diane McKinney , who departed this life on April 29th, 2025 of natural causes at home. A guiding force, a steady hand, and a beacon of strength, she led us through life’s storms with courage, love, and grace. Though the journey has ended, Diane's legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
We grieve deeply, but we also celebrate a life well-lived — a life of purpose, passion, and enduring impact. Rest in peace, dear Captain. You are deeply missed.
The memorial service honoring the life of Diane Mckinney is being planned. We will share details here as soon as they are available. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend and pay their respects.
As many of you know, for now Able to Sail is on hold, as we sort things out and try to build a staff/ program worthy to carry on her legacy and help our youth in need as she would have wanted. Details about this will be shared at a later date. Please be patient as we grieve and process.
